CIPS resources: inspire and get involved
CIPS has created some resources for tutors and procurement professionals to download
and use in schools or colleges to encourage young people to consider a career in procurement.
You can partner with Inspiring the Future, a website that matches schools and willing volunteers with opportunities for careers fairs, mock interviews, enterprise days and CV workshops. Form a long-term relationship with the school, offering support throughout the year and potentially finding new recruits for your own organisation. Inspiring the Future
Why not go a step further and adopt a school? Find out more about the CIPS school engagement campaign.
And when you get started, use the CIPS tutor pack with presentations and mini workshops specifically for use in schools and at career evenings.

Calling procurement professionals
Schools, colleges and universities are keen to engage with people in business to give students insights into the world of work. Find opportunities in your area by contacting your local school or college, one of the CIPS study centres – or register with Inspiring the Future. Download the CIPS sample presentations or tweak them to add your own personal experiences.
Do you need a careers advisor?
CIPS has a global community of over 150,000 procurement professionals ready and willing to come into your school or college to deliver a career talk on procurement. Contact us or register with Inspiring the Future to get in touch with someone to visit your school or college. Alternatively you can download the resources and use them yourselves.
